Purchasing Hatching Eggs

Shipping for one dozen hatching eggs is a flat rate of $25.00 via USPS Priority 2-5 day delivery. Shipping for more than two dozen hatching eggs will vary on your location. We will ship out eggs Monday thru Wednesday as we do not want them to get left at a post office over the weekend.   I always try to ship an additional 1-2 surprise eggs. We package our hatching eggs securely in foam shippers encased in bubble wrap to ensure the safest trip possible. This material helps ensure a safe travel. Our birds are healthy and produce nice strong eggs that ship out very well. We are pleased to say that many of our customers have reported great hatch rates.  I am continually checking for fertility, but can not guarantee hatch rates after our eggs leave our care due to the many variables of shipping and incubation. (ex. fluctuation of temperatures, different incubation practices, USPS handling, etc)    I am always collecting eggs to reset our incubators every 4 weeks so there may be a delay in shipping your eggs, but I will always contact you and advise if there is a delay of any kind.  Please only purchase hatching eggs if you accept and understand our hatching eggs policy.   Shipment of hatching eggs will begin the end of February after we check fertility for all breeds. We will not refund, credit or reship eggs due to poor hatch rates.  



There is a 8 chick minimum per order, feel free to mix and match. Baby chicks are sold straight run (un-sexed) up to two weeks old. Sometimes we do have older chicks + birds available, email to inquire.  We will be hatching March thru July, place your order thru the website and I will be in touch for your pick up or ship date.. Chick pick ups are Saturday & Sunday from 9am to 3pm at Littleman Poultry 1555 Tarkiln Rd Burrillville, RI.  CHICKS will be shipped Monday thru Thursday by USPS Priority Express 1-2 day shipping in USPS approved boxes with heating pads and GroGel hydrating chick food.  

How to Order

You can order directly on our website by selecting the number of  hatching eggs or chicks that you would like. Payments can be made by credit card, debit, Apple Pay or PayPal right on this  site. Orders will be filled on a first come first served basis according to when payment is received. Once your order is placed your spot in line will be reserved.



If you chose to cancel your order, 100% of your payment is refundable only if you cancel within 14 days of your order date.  There will be a 50% refund if you cancel 15 days or more after your order is placed. If you need to cancel your order, please email us the reason for your cancellation and your order number.  Full refunds will be issued if we cannot fulfill your order.


We participate in the National Poultry Improvement Plan. Our flocks are tested by the state vet.  If you would like to receive the USDA NPIP 9-3 form for your chicks or eggs, please indicate so on your order. We will email you the form after we ship out your order.
