We raise, breed and hatch all our birds right on our farm.  We specialize in Rare breed chickens that are cold hardy and do very well in NE weather. 

Breeds are Mosaic, Swedish Flower hens,  Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben,  Speckled Sussex, Bielefelder, Whiting True Blue, Crested Cream Legbar and Lemon Owlbeard.

All our day old chicks are sold as straight run, unless it is an autosexed bird at hatch.  All chicks will be vaccinated for Marek's disease.   We feed medicated chick starter until 6 weeks of age.  When our young birds are brought outside, they are given non-fat dry milk to prevent Coccidiosis, this is a natural way of coating the lining of the young birds.
Should you get a rooster, you can return him to us at 4 months old and receive a $10  credit towards a pullet that is available at the time of return (this is only available for local return & pickup). 
   
All pullets are guaranteed to be hens and if they you happen to get a rooster, just return him and exchange him for another bird. 

Also have eating eggs available at most times at our farm stand.
